Brisbane

U need to hear this...
Woke up this morning and got a bus to Mackay (a small ugly town in the middle of nowhere) and get on a plane to Brisbane.
The plan was: arrive to Brisbane, get a room, go to the Steve Irwin's zoo tomorrow and then Byron Bay (where i was supposed to meet Claire) but things have actually changed.
Flew into Brisbane quite late, got a train into town and couldn't find an hotel room...shit!!!! Apparently a huge music festival is on these days in Brisbane that's why is all packed.
I ran into Claire in one of the hostels ( it was full as well). The receptionist, a cool english guy, started calling all the hostels of the city and finally we found a bed for me for tonight!! Gosh, i was starting being worried about it.
Actually in the same hostel where i am staying there are also two guys (english and scottish) that were on the Solway Lass and tomorrow are heading to Byron Bay with a caravan.
They offered me and Claire a lift all the way to Byron. Cool. THANKS GUYS!!:)
We all went out for dinner and had a fun chat.
It is only 9pm but since i had a pretty long day i am going to bed....
