Low Isles (Port Douglas); sailing on Wavedancer, QuickSilver

I am in Port Douglas, supercool place. i love it here....i would love to stay here three weeks at least if i could:(.

Arrived a couple of days ago!! Sweet little neat place!
Yesterday i saw Kangaroos and Koalas. Cuties!! U'll see the pics.

Tried to go to Batt Reef but apparently there is no cruise that goes there.

Met a marin bioligist yesterday, John, who got me on a sail boat for 20 dollars!!! :) great!!! So today i went on a sailing trip, went to Low Isles (approx 8 miles from Batt Reef) where Steve Irwin was brought after he got stung by a bull ray at Batt Reef and where the helicopter came to pick him up to take him to the hospital. He was pronunced dead on that beach!

Saw many sea turtles and a small shark!!
The marin biologist was cool and nice...i liked him! He is from Redondo Beach, CA but lived here for 9 yrs!!! Thanks JOHN!!! Hope i'll see u again one day.

Had a great time.

Going back to Cairns tomorrow and then heading south. Not sure how and where yet :)

...oh yeah, actually....there is a cyclon in the ocean and apparently it is going south...hope i won't meet it.
